Our program commentary will be set in the context of the Guidelines that we have published, along with our subjective experience.  The initial program commentary that appears here will tend to be highly subjective, but with thought given to the guidelines. As this project matures, we will be asking programs to respond to a questionnaire based on the guidelines and our commentary will follow the Guidelines more rigorously.

Our prior experience with the our Bridge to Understanding web site from several years ago suggests that programs will not be quick to respond to our initial inquiries.  Once programs have had the time to respond, we will begin to publish information about them, which we suspect will prompt responses to our inquiry. 

When fully developed, we will have program-by-program commentary in this location with considerable guidance for those searching on-line. At this point (mid August, 2008) we are nearing completion on our inaugural  program listings.  We will then bring those areas of the website that are started and not finished up to the point of completion. 

We anticipate that some of what we place here will be controversial. We welcome respectful alternative points of view.
