A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z We previously said that schools and programs will be reviewed more extensively when we receive questionnaire responses from them. We will still give priority to schools and programs that complete the questionnaire, but with the resistance programs have shown to the questionnaire, we are moving ahead by adding detailed and preliminary reviews on a broad range of programs. We know that our website is gaining popularity and influence. The time will come that programs will need to respond to the questionnaire in order to get the degree of attention they might want. We continue to believe that every question that we seek answers to in that questionnaire is information that would be customers of these facilities should be able to access. Schools and programs that are already listed are not exempt from being affected by our preference for focus on schools and programs that do respond to the questionnaire. Updates, revisits, posting of comments on our reviews and guest reviews will follow the same priority. Schools and programs named above are either currently reviewed or on the list to be reviewed. This list includes those operated by Major Provider Groups. We may add schools and programs to this list as we encounter new offerings in service of our paid clients. That is why we added Arivaca Boys Ranch to our list in April, 2010, and promptly added a review. We may add schools and programs that we know are bringing strong reaction from others. We had investigated it on request of a paid client and thought we should share what we learned. This is why we added New Roads Treatment Centers in Provo UT to our list in August 2010. (We heard substantial positive comment from other consultants we respect). We will add some offerings of Major Provider Groups that we have already listed. We will add a few of our own choosing as we choose. Our decisions about which programs to list are not subject to review. Schools and programs that want more attention than we have given them, have only one route to go: complete the questionnaire. One other point. One chain of programs that draws much positive attention has insisted that we not list them. For now, we aren't arguing, because that is a battle we choose not to fight at the moment. But eventually we will be saying something about them, focusing primarily on their openness to accountability. Feedback is invited. We have also set the bar very high, and do not expect any school or program to be in total compliance. It is not appropriate to draw a conclusion of impropriety (or even failure to live up to conventional wisdom) from our lack of confidence in a school or program or from less than perfect conformity to our guidelines. Some will say we expect too much. Readers are responsible for verifying accuracy of information supplied here prior to acting upon it. We are not responsible for inaccuracies.
