FamilyLight^sm: Successor to Bridge to Understanding^sm

We now have a draft directory of schools and programs for struggling teens that is intended to be helpful to all. No endorsement is implied by inclusion in this directory. We will continue to improve that directory so that it will be searchable and linked to information about the programs listed throughout the web. We anticipate making the directory searchable in 2009.

FamilyLight^smis an educational consulting firm specializing in work with families with a young person with behavioral, emotional or psychological difficulties. We offer in-depth personal guidance to families on a fee basis and free guidance on the internet. FamilyLight^sm attempts to be fully objective and accepts no advertising nor referral fees. The only revenue at FamilyLight^sm comes from client fees.

This directory is subject to copyright by Thomas J. Croke, Inc. Non-commercial users may download this directory for their personal use only. Commercial use of any kind requires prior special permission from Thomas J. Croke, Inc. and acknowledgement of source including publishing the URL. We do intend to be somewhat flexible about copy permissions, but we do want to be asked before you copy. This document is currently in MS Excel (*.xls) format. As we further develop this, we will convert this to MS Access format to enable users to search the data more efficiently. (Unless it creates unforeseen technical problems to do so, we will keep an Excel version available, as Excel is more broadly distributed) Eventually, we will have a searchable data base online that does not require ownership of specific software but to allow sophisticated searches on-line.
